But I ONLY have FIFTEEN MINUTES!

Okay let's talk 15 minute makeup!

I know, I know, it sounds like it's completely impossible, but please believe me it is not. You can look absolutely fabulous in much less time than you think!

I mean, who really has unlimited amounts of time to put into their makeup while life is busy happening around them? Unless its a special night, red carpet event, or photo worthy occasion, an hours worth of fuss is simply out of the question.

Let's look at the basics. What can make you instantly look well rested, refreshed, and well, more beautiful? We can start with the canvas, or in other words, your skin.

Depending on how stressed, dehydrated, or just plain tired you are, your skin can start to look worn, dry, dull, and scream for some TLC. In this case, take one pump of your favorite liquid foundation (preferably one with sheer to medium coverage, these tend not to look too heavy and don't emphasize mistakes during quick application) and mix it with one pump of your favorite moisturizer. Apply the mixture evenly over your entire face using your foundation brush or hands, whichever you feel comfortable with. Now, I cannot produce the extra hours you want (or in some cases need) to play catch up on your sleep, but I do know this will make you instantly look like you've had at least 8 hours of well deserved slumber!

Now that we've got your skin looking fresh and supple, lets move to the brows. The brows frame the face, and are vitally important in making your entire face look polished. I recommend keeping the brows professionally groomed and during the 15 minute routine, simply pluck the one or two unwanted hairs that have suddenly appeared around your previously sculpted brows. Then use a brow powder or gel to fill in any areas of the brows that are thin or need a little sprucing.

Your skin is glowing and your brows are beautiful, what's next?

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, so let's make sure your windows are nice, shiny, and really worth peering into. Take two coats of your favorite mascara and apply it to both top and bottom. Yes, bottom lashes count too. They add a little 'umph' to the equation.

Lastly, brush a small amount of your favorite bronzer or blush across the apples of your cheeks (emphasizing SMALL amount, I don't want you to be ready for the circus with this step). Add a light coat of your favorite lip gloss or lipstick and you are...DONE!

From start to finish, this routine should take no more than 15 minutes. On days when you manage to have a whole 20 minutes (for some that's a miracle) feel free to add concealer, an eyeliner or even eyeshadow to the routine...

But until you have that magical 20, enjoy looking spectacular in only 15 minutes!
